The intent of this weblog is to discuss issues and news events that I find interesting, entertaining, controversial and fun. Have no doubt that I intend to use it as a tool to vent my own opinions in the mix. It will focus primarily on US politics with a conservative bias, although other subject matter will be interjected. More often than not (and to the amusement and amazement of some), you will discover I will be critical substantially of my own political party.

The primary reason for my GOP criticism is I am focused on recapturing the heart of the Republican principles, which have been masked and hijacked in recent years, and fighting for the doctrines, integrity and ideology that have made the GOP popular and great. No longer can we pretend that there are not problems and continually refuse to address them. Gone are the days filled with strategic distractions and shenanigans. You may label my behavior what you like - rebel, maverick, renegade, stalwart, revolutionary or even incorrigible - but I believe it will take determined voices and unwaivering principles to win this battle. Playing the blame game of others, without analyzing the hypocrisy which exists within, is naive and foolish. It solves little and demonstrates mediocrity in the movement of idealism and vision.

At times, these posts will be critical of the left as well, particularly during election cycles. There are topics which cannot be avoided from this perspective too. I will not avoid addressing them, but I intend to do so in the most constructive manner possible. This site will NOT be about bashing Republicans or Democrats out of bitterness or for the sheer purpose of humiliation.

This is a learning process for me and an opportunity to polish some of my journalistic skills. I will do my best to provide thorough and detailed research about the topics, so that you can have the information necessary to discuss it. It is important to me to get civil feedback and ideas from all of you. Thank you for taking the time to read and participate.
