The Wall Street Journal blog opened up the subject of the satirical cover of the New Yorker magazine. The moonbats have come out in droves with their faux outrage. Here, for your amusement, are some of the comments about the story, and my translation of each.
BONUS COMMENT:
The cover is deplorable. Too many Americans are ignorant enough about much of American life and politics. Such a cover, even if intended to be satirical, merely fans the flames of that ignorance. It is in appallingly bad taste. Shame on the New Yorker (and I have been a subscriber). And here all along I thought the clever satire displayed on the cover was the idea of Barack and Michelle actually being in the Oval Office.

I’m ashamed to be an American.

Satire? Please. There are too many ignorant people in this country to understand ’satire.’ They’ll see the cover and say “see, I told you he was a Muslim and his wife is a radical.” And the New Yorker knew exactly what they were doing. New Yorker=Fox News

I GET IT, but it’s only going to reinforce the disinformation that Rove uses to manipulate the stupids.

Translation: "Rove is a genius. And, oh yeah, I think Americans are dumb."
What’s next Al Jolson in blackface singing Mammy? The New Yorker just set Americans back 200 years. Its highly offensive.
This is passive aggressive racism.

America really does need change. We have become the laughing stock of world. We have come to a new low.

That was no satire at all. That was the Northeast liberal elitists sending a clear message that Obama is now officially out of their club, when Obama revealed that he is a closet political conservative and represents average Americans.

Interesting. After all the talk about republicans and conservatives using the race card it appears that the only ones using the race card are liberals and democrats. Hypocracy at it's finest.
The New Yorker is very liberal elitist rag, their whole point here was to show, in their view, what the Far Right really thinks about the Obamas. Looks like it backfired on them.
Somewhere out there, there's a job as an interpreter for weenie liberals with your name on it. =D
@jlw - Exactly.
@MGG - Didn't it make you snicker a bit? I know I got a kick out of all of it.
@lincoln - But will it pay? And will the dress code allow me to wear my tiara?
what a bunch of goons following Obama, but at the rate that Obama is sticking his foot in his mouth we'll hardly have a contest in November (I hope)
I love it that the liberals are turning on themselves in a feeding frenzy.
Brings a tear of joy to my eye.
